Should not harm most thoroughly dried automotive paint if it is used carefully and properly. Test all solvents on an inconspicuous area before using to insure that it will not harm the surface. Apply a small amount to a soft cloth and lightly dab the solvent onto the adhesive, allow it to work for a few minutes and then gently remove the residue. The thicker the adhesive, the more applications required. Wash the area thoroughly with car wash and rinse completely with water after use to remove all traces of solvent. |
